It has always been a dream to own a Baby Grand piano. From our first plans for Summerfell we knew we wanted it to hold pride of place and be a central feature. 

We were so excited over the Holidays to be able to buy a dream piano. This is no ordinary Grand Piano, it is a very high-tech Yamaha Trans Acoustic Piano. This means you can disengage the hammers that hit the strings and can then play it silently with headphones. But there is more, the sound board has a trans-acoustic resonator which can generate sounds without the strings. This means I’ll be able to adjust the volume when playing the baby grand without headphones, and even add accompaniment! 

The piano will hold pride of place and enjoy a wonderful view out to the forest beyond. This rendering below shows the view as you are going up the stairs.
