What a day at Summerfell! – We woke up excited to get to the site for the big pour. The entire crew were there to welcome us, below from left to right is Dave, Roger, Lucas, Dan and James. (what a handsome bunch) 

It was fascinating, and a tad scary to watch the enormous truck back tenderly down the back lane, and then to marvel as the ginormous arm extended over 100 feet to reach the front of the lot. Dan quickly took charge of the hose and the concrete began to flow. 

Kevin our assistant Project Manager stopped by to check on progress. Not one to be afraid to get my hands dirty (and my jeans) I adorned a safety vest and headed down to man the hose for a few minutes. 

Kane and I made a little capsule with a verse from the Bible (Psalm 24) and a Cross, we embedded it into the concrete below where the front door will be. Our home is filled with Pride, of all types. 

It was a such a beautiful day at Summerfell; we can’t wait to wake up here every morning to the sweet sounds of the forest and creek at our doorstep.

To top off the day, we both had our 2nd Pfizer vaccine !! It truly is the beginning of a new chapter.
